TM2 Purple Heart is finally available. We wanted to bring this beauty out since the launch of TM2 in 2022 and now we have it available in limited quantities.

Units are made according to the latest version of TM2 with all recent updates + new updated heater that is released with the Purple Heart, it has been improved by replacing the quartz glass construction with zirconia ceramic and the support rods of the heater are more than double strength compared to the earlier design.

What is new about the Tinymight 2?

Tinymight 2 is a result of all the learning and feedback we have received during our operations since 2019. The actual process of designing and finishing it has taken over 18 months and countless revisions to get to the point that we can now proudly introduce the new Tinymight 2.

Choice of wood: Purple Heart wood allows the Tinymight 2 Purple Heart to have a unique appearance. Purple Heart wood is known for its longevity and unique color.

Size: Tinymight 2 is a bit bigger than the original Tinymight. This allowed us three things: better insulation of heat, much more robust construction and more space for more sophisticated electronics.

Battery lid: We updated the battery lid to make it easier to exchange batteries. The original design had a recessed lid that often needed a coin to open it. New lid has a nice grippy surface to grab it and open easily without extra tools.

Multitool: We included a tool with the Tinymight 2 on the top of the unit, always ready to be used when needed. The idea was to allow easier adjustment of the herb chamber volume without needing to look for a suitable tool as it is always with the unit. The same tool can be also used to stir the herb, to empty the contents of the chamber, and even upside down to tamp the herb with the handle side.

New finish of metal parts: The Tinymight 2 features a new finish on all external metal parts, to make them much more resistant to scratching so that it will be able to handle active and carefree using and still keep its beauty for a long time.

USB-C Quick charge: Tinymight 2 has a completely new charging electronics. It allows very fast and efficient charging with much less wasted energy. It is designed to work with almost any possible adaptor, including USB ports of computers, power banks, car chargers, USB PD high speed chargers, Quick Charge compatible chargers, and it adapts the charge speed automatically to get the best out of the source. In case you will need, we also have as an accessory a USB-C adaptor that is tested to guarantee the maximum performance of TM2 charging.

General robustness: A lot of work and attention has went to make the Tinymight 2 a very robust device, to allow carefree use for years to come. We looked at a list of issues we had ever had with the original Tinymight, causes of warranty returns, and decided to change everything that needed it. As a result, the unit has completely new construction, multiple new components, and additional steps in the manufacturing process to allow it to be much stronger and robust.

Improved taste: The Tinymight 2 has multiple improvements to improve the taste of the vapor produced by the device. The heater is now controlled much more tightly, keeping its temperature and heat output at stable level in all situations. The new heat spreader and improved heater control allows the herb to be more evenly vaped and the end result is amazingly tasty thick vapor production.

Much improved electronics: The most visible change for the user is the different orientation of the battery inside the unit. But it is just part of the story. The whole electronics and the way the Tinymight heater is controlled has been redesigned. We used higher performing components, doubled the current carrying paths to allow greater energy delivery.

Each Tinymight 2 unit is built carefully in Finland. Tinymight 2 is a certified Finnish Key Flag product

As wood is a natural material, every piece of wooden body will appear slightly different in finish either in color or pattern of wood. Tinymight cannot warranty color, grain, or texture of wood.

Who is the Tinymight 2 for?

Anyone who wants true convection vapor without being tied to a desktop unit. If you are stepping up from a conduction portable, the first things you notice are speed and taste: hold the button and about three seconds later you are drawing dense, flavourful vapor - and because nothing rests on a hot surface between draws, your herb is not cooking away while the device idles. It suits the slow single-draw purist and the pass-it-around session equally, because it genuinely does both.

On-demand or session - your call

On-demand mode heats only while you hold the button: press, feel the vibration, draw, release. Between draws nothing is heated, so a single load stretches further and the last draw tastes like the first.

Session mode holds the chamber at your set temperature until you switch off - hands-free, no button needed while you use it, with hold-to-boost when you want thicker clouds. Triple-click to turn on; keep the button held through the vibration to enter session mode.

How to use it (on-demand)

1. Load the chamber and push the tube back into the unit.
2. Set the dial - 3-4 for lighter, tastier vapor; 5-6 for bigger clouds.
3. Triple-click the button to switch on.
4. Hold the button until the unit vibrates (about three seconds).
5. Draw slowly from the mouthpiece with the button still held - it is full convection, so a longer, gentler draw carries the heat through the herb.
6. Release the button and finish the draw to clear the vapor path.
7. Repeat until the herb is evenly browned, then triple-click to switch off.

Temperature dial

The analog dial on the base runs from 0 (locked) to 10. Factory settings:

Level 10 is beast mode: the lights turn white and the heater delivers its maximum - noticeably hotter than level 9, available in on-demand mode only. If the whole range ever feels too hot or too cool for your material, the range itself can be shifted up or down - see Appendix 2 of the manual below.

Battery and charging

Power comes from a single replaceable 18650 cell, so a drained battery is a ten-second swap rather than the end of the evening. If you use your own cells, they must be high-quality high-current 18650s rated for 20 A continuous. Charging is USB-C from any adapter supplying at least 2 A; the red LED turns off when the battery is full, and on power-up the unit reports its charge with colour and one to four vibrations.

Keeping it clean

Only three parts need regular cleaning - the glass tube, the cooling unit and the screen. Warm water and detergent, or a soak in isopropyl alcohol, brings them back to new; just keep the o-rings out of the alcohol. The tube-holder ring unscrews by hand when you want a deeper clean.
