The device
- Tinymight 2TM2
- Our current portable vaporizer: a convection heater in a hand-finished wooden body, built in Finland, with a replaceable battery and two ways of using it, on-demand and session. Everything else on this page attaches to it or goes inside it.See: Tinymight 2The complete guide
- Tinymight 1TM1
- The first Tinymight, sold from 2019. It is no longer made, but spare parts such as the glass lining and the metal tube-holder insert are still available, and the repair service still takes it in.
- Convection heating
- Hot air is drawn through the herb instead of the herb sitting on a hot surface. Heat-up takes seconds, the material is used evenly, and nothing touches a hot plate.
- Heater
- The heating element inside the body that warms the air on its way to the chamber. Current units use a zirconia ceramic construction; a stainless or glass lining sits on top of it and is a replaceable spare.See: Spare Part - Stainless Steel Lining on Top of Heater (TM2)
- On-demand mode
- The device heats only while you hold the button and is ready within a few seconds. Release, and it cools down again. The most battery-friendly way to use it and the mode most owners live in.See: The complete guide
- Session mode
- The device holds its temperature for a set time so you can draw at your own pace without holding the button. It uses more battery than on-demand.
- Boost (Beast Mode)
- The extra-power setting available in on-demand mode for a stronger draw. How to enter it is in the guide.See: The complete guide
- Temperature dial
- The knob on the bottom plate. Ten marked steps with half-steps between them give about twenty settings. The temperature guide explains which ranges suit flavour and which suit clouds.See: Temperature guide
- Stealth mode
- Turns the lights off so the device gives nothing away in the dark.
- Herb chamberbowl
- The space under the tube holder where the ground herb goes. Its depth is adjustable, so a small load works as well as a full one. A dosing capsule fits inside it.See: Dosing capsule
- Auto shut-off
- A safety timer that switches the heater off after a period of no use. If the device seems to turn itself off, this is usually why; the troubleshooting guide covers the rest.See: Troubleshooting
- Battery lid
- The grippy cap at the bottom of the body. Unscrew it by hand to change the battery; no coin needed.
- Wood editions
- The Tinymight 2 comes in several woods and finishes: the standard American walnut, the Black line in oak, black walnut and black redwood, and limited runs such as Purple Heart and White Ash. The insides are the same; the wood and the finish differ.See: All devices
- Serial number
- The unique number of your unit. You need it to register the warranty and for any repair. The support assistant can help you find it if you are not sure where to look.See: Warranty registration
Stems, cooling and glass
- Stemtube, mouthpiece tube
- The part you draw from. It sits in the tube holder on top of the device. Stems come in glass, titanium and zirconia, in a short and a long length, and in plain or ball-filled versions.See: All accessories
- Glass tube55 mm short, 80 mm long
- The plain straight glass stem. The short one is the everyday choice and comes with the device; the long one keeps the mouthpiece further from the body for a cooler draw.See: Glass Tube 55 mmGlass Tube 80 mm
- Titanium stem
- The same shape as the long glass tube, in titanium. It does not break in a pocket and it is included with some editions.See: Titanium Stem 80 mm
- Zirconia stem
- A stem in zirconia ceramic: tough like titanium, neutral in taste like glass. Included with the Black line.See: Zirconia Stem 80 mm
- Ball stemshort ball stem, long ball stem
- A glass stem filled with small glass balls. The balls take heat out of the vapour on its way to you, so the draw is noticeably cooler. It comes with a glass mouthpiece and can be refilled from a bag of balls.See: Short Ball StemLong Ball StemBag of Balls
- Glass mouthpiece
- The tip that closes a ball stem. Replacement mouthpieces come in clear and in colours.See: Glass Mouthpiece for Ball Stems
- Cooling unitv1, v2
- The piece between the stem and the body that cools the vapour and holds a screen. The original design is v1; v2 is the 2026 design that comes with the Black line and uses the screen kit v2.See: Cooling Unit v2Screen Kit v2
- 3D cooling stemextra long stem, XL stem
- A longer stem with an internal path that gives the vapour more distance to cool. Available plain or with glass balls.See: Extra Long 3D Cooling StemExtra Long 3D Cooling Stem with Glass Balls
- Tube holder
- The ring in the top panel that grips the stem. The threaded ring inside it is a spare part; the red O-ring on it keeps the stem snug.See: Spare Part - Tube Holder Threaded RingO-Ring for the Tube Holder
- Top panel
- The metal top of the device that carries the tube holder. Its O-ring is a spare part.
- Basket screenrimmed basket screen
- The small cup-shaped screen that sits in the chamber and keeps the herb above the airflow. The rimmed version has a lip that makes it easier to lift out. Both are consumables: replace them when they clog or deform.See: Basket ScreenRimmed Basket Screen
- Mesh screenscreen holder screen
- The flat screen in the screen holder above the heater, and the mesh inside the cooling unit. Screen kits contain the right ones for each part.See: Screen Kit v2
- Screen holder
- The small ring that holds the mesh screen above the heater and protects it. A spare part.
- Lining on top of the heaterstainless steel lining, glass lining
- The sleeve that sits on top of the heater and channels the air. Available in stainless steel and, for the older design, in glass.See: Spare Part - Stainless Steel Lining on Top of Heater (TM2)
- O-rings
- The rubber seals that keep parts snug and air-tight: the red one on the tube holder, the one under the top panel, the set in the cooling unit, one on the stir tool and a pack for ball stems. The O-ring pack in the spare parts kit covers the common ones.See: O-Ring PackO-Ring Package for the Cooling Unit
- Spare parts kit
- The little bag in the box with O-rings and screens. It covers the first year of normal use; everything in it is also sold separately.See: All accessories
Water pipes and adapters
- WPAwater pipe adapter, connection adapter
- Water pipe adapter: the piece that connects the Tinymight to a water pipe or bubbler. It replaces the stem, and its glass joint plugs straight into the water piece. We make one for 14 mm joints, one for 18 mm, and a 3-in-1 that fits 10, 14 and 18 mm.See: Connection Adapter 14 mmConnection Adapter 18 mmConnection Adapter for the Tinymight
- 3-in-1 adapter
- One water pipe adapter with three stepped sections, so it fits 10, 14 and 18 mm joints. The one to get if you own more than one piece of glass.See: Connection Adapter for the Tinymight
- Joint size10 mm, 14 mm, 18 mm
- The standard sizes of glass joints. Our adapters are male, meaning they go into a female joint on the water piece. Measure the opening of your piece or check its listing to know which size you have.See: WPA
- Portable bubbler
- A small water piece made for the Tinymight. It attaches directly, needs only a little water, and fits in a coat pocket.See: Portable Bubbler for Tinymight
- Water pipebubbler, rig
- Any glass piece that passes the vapour through water before you draw it, which cools it and takes out some of the harshness. Connect the Tinymight with a WPA.See: WPA
- Draw resistance
- How hard you have to pull to move air through the device. Screens, a full chamber and water all add to it; a clogged screen adds the most, and a clean one brings it back.See: Cleaning guide
Dosing and care
- Dosing capsulev2, stainless steel
- A small capsule you fill in advance and drop into the chamber. It keeps the chamber clean, makes swapping loads quick, and travels well. Version 2 is the current design.See: Dosing Capsule v2Dosing Capsules v2, 5 pcs with Holder
- Titanium dosing capsule
- The same capsule in titanium: lighter, and it does not discolour. Included with the Purple Heart and Black editions.See: Dosing Capsule v2 TitaniumDosing Capsules v2 Titanium, 5 pcs with Holder
- Capsule holdercarry case
- The case that holds five filled capsules, sold together with them.See: Dosing Capsules v2, 5 pcs with Holder
- Stir toolmultitool
- The metal tool for stirring the chamber, lifting screens and opening capsules. Available in silver and black.See: Stir Tool / Multitool Tinymight 2Stir Tool / Multitool Tinymight 2 Black
- Beeswax
- The wood care. Rub a small amount into the body every few months, let it sit, wipe off. It keeps the finish from drying out and brings back the shine.See: Beeswax 10 ml
- Cleaning
- Glass and metal parts clean in isopropyl alcohol; screens get a brush or a soak; the body gets a dry cloth and occasionally beeswax. The cleaning guide does it in five minutes.See: Cleaning guide
- Grind
- How finely the herb is ground. A medium, even grind gives the most even airflow in a convection device; very fine grinds clog screens sooner.
- AVBalready vaporised botanical
- The spent, browned material left after a full session. Empty the chamber and brush the screen before the next load.See: Cleaning
Battery and charging
- Battery18650
- The Tinymight uses a single 18650-size cell that you can swap yourself. Our vaporizer is used only and exclusively with Molicel P26A, P28A or P30B. Any other battery might cause underperformance or harm your device.See: Extra Battery + Charger
- Molicel P26A, P28A, P30B
- The three approved cells. One comes with the device; a spare with its own charger is an add-on.See: Extra Battery + Charger

Technique and everyday words
- Dry herbloose leaf, botanicals
- Dried plant material, ground and loaded into the chamber. Vaporizers are made for it; they do not burn it.See: Convection heating
- Vapour
- What a vaporizer produces: the aroma compounds of the material carried in warm air, without smoke. It thins out quickly and leaves little smell.
- Combustion
- Burning. A vaporizer stays below the point where material ignites, which is the whole difference between vaping and smoking. If you ever see charring, the temperature is too high or the airflow is blocked.See: Temperature dial
- Conduction heating
- The material sits against a hot surface and heats by contact, like a pan. Simple and quick, but it heats unevenly and keeps cooking between draws. The Tinymight does not work this way.See: Convection heating
- Hybrid heating
- A mix of conduction and convection, used by some portables. The Tinymight is pure convection: only moving air heats the material.See: Convection heating
- Heat-up time
- How long from pressing the button until the device is ready. In on-demand mode the Tinymight needs only a few seconds because it heats air rather than a metal chamber.See: On-demand mode
- Cool-down
- The moment after a draw when the heater stops. In on-demand mode this happens the instant you release the button, which is what keeps the material fresh between draws.See: On-demand mode
- Drawpull, hit
- One breath through the device. A slow, steady draw gives the most even extraction; a very hard draw pulls air faster than the heater can warm it.See: Draw resistance
- Sessionsesh
- One filling of the chamber, from fresh to spent. Also the name of the mode that keeps the heater on for a set time.See: Session mode
- Temperature steppingtemp stepping
- Starting a session low and turning the dial up step by step. Flavour comes first, thicker vapour later, and the load is used completely.See: Temperature guide
- Flavour versus clouds
- The usual trade-off: lower settings taste better, higher settings produce more visible vapour. The temperature guide maps the dial to both.See: Temperature guide
- Terpenes
- The aroma compounds of a plant. They are volatile and come off at lower temperatures, which is why flavour is best at the start of a session.See: Temperature stepping
- Packingpack density
- How tightly the chamber is filled. Loose to medium suits convection; packed hard, the air cannot pass and the draw tightens.See: Herb chamber
- Stirring
- Turning the load over halfway through a session so the lower layer gets fresh air. The stir tool is made for it; a capsule can simply be shaken.See: Stir tool
- Small loadmicrodose
- A few pinches instead of a full chamber. The adjustable chamber and the dosing capsules make small loads practical.See: Herb chamber
- Hot spot
- A patch of the load that browned faster than the rest, usually where the air entered. Stirring evens it out.See: Stirring
- Clogging
- Residue narrowing a screen or a stem until the draw tightens. The cure is cleaning, not a harder pull.See: Cleaning
- Residuereclaim
- The sticky film that builds up in stems and cooling units over time. It wipes off with alcohol; it is the reason spare screens are consumables.See: Cleaning
- Desktop versus portable
- Desktop vaporizers plug into the wall and stay on a table; portables run on a battery and fit a pocket. The Tinymight is a portable with desktop-level power.See: Tinymight 2
- Battery life
- How many sessions one charge gives. On-demand use stretches it furthest; session mode and high settings shorten it. A spare battery removes the question.See: Battery
- Charging while in usepass-through
- Using a device while it charges. Whether and how the Tinymight allows it is described in the manual; ask the assistant if unsure.See: USB-C charging
- Companion app
- Some vaporizers are controlled from a phone app. The Tinymight has none and needs none: every setting is on the dial and the button, with no account, firmware or pairing.See: Temperature dial
- Haptic feedback
- A vibration that signals ready or a mode change. The Tinymight signals with its lights.See: LED
- Discreet use
- Low smell, quick cool-down and lights off make a vaporizer far less noticeable than smoke. Stealth mode is the setting; the rest is the technology.See: Stealth mode
Materials
- Borosilicate glass
- The heat-resistant laboratory glass used for stems, tubes, ball stems and water pieces. Neutral in taste and easy to clean; it breaks if dropped.See: Glass tube
- Quartz glass
- A purer glass that tolerates even higher heat. Used in older heater linings and some accessories.See: Lining on top of the heater
- Zirconia
- A tough ceramic that feels like stone. Used for the current heater construction and the zirconia stem.See: Zirconia stem
- Titanium
- Light, strong and taste-neutral metal used for stems and dosing capsules.See: Titanium stem
- Stainless steel
- The everyday metal for capsules, screens, linings and tools. Robust and easy to clean.See: Dosing capsule
- Aluminium
- Used where light weight matters, such as the top panel. Anodised for durability.See: Top panel
- Woodwalnut, oak, redwood, purple heart, ash
- The body of every Tinymight is a solid piece of wood, finished by hand. It insulates, it stays cool to hold, and every unit's grain is its own.See: Wood editions
- Silicone
- Heat-tolerant rubber used for O-rings and seals. Replaceable, and included in the spare parts kit.See: O-rings
- Food grade
- Materials safe for contact with food, the standard the parts in the air path meet.
- Beeswax finish
- The natural finish on the wood. It needs a light refresh every few months.See: Beeswax
Other device types you will read about
- Ball vape
- A desktop vaporizer that heats a column of glass or ruby balls and pushes air through them. Powerful and tethered to the wall; the ball stem borrows the idea in portable form.See: Ball stem
- Injector
- The heater head of a ball vape that sits on top of a glass bowl. Not a Tinymight part; you will meet the word in comparisons.See: Ball vape
- Whip
- A length of tubing between a desktop vaporizer and the mouthpiece. Portables like the Tinymight have no whip.
- Balloonbag
- A bag filled with vapour by some desktop vaporizers, then detached and inhaled from. The Volcano made it famous.See: S&B
- Manually heated vaporizertorch vape
- A vaporizer with no battery, heated by a lighter or induction heater. Different category, different habits.
- Vape pen
- Usually a device for liquids or extracts, not dried plant material. A dry herb vaporizer is a different tool.See: DHV
- Hydratubewater tool
- Water-filtration glass built to attach to a specific portable. The Tinymight uses a standard water pipe adapter instead, so any piece with a matching joint works.See: WPA
- J-hook
- A curved glass mouthpiece that hangs off a water pipe joint. Attaches to the Tinymight through a WPA like any other glass.See: WPA
- Downstem
- The tube that leads into the water in a water pipe. The WPA takes the place of the bowl at the top of it.See: Water pipe
- Percolatorperc
- The part of a water pipe that breaks the vapour into bubbles for more cooling. Any water piece with one works with the Tinymight through a WPA.See: Water pipe
- Carb
- A small hole on some glass that you cover and release to clear the piece. Not present on the Tinymight; some water pipes have one.
- Grinder
- The tool that breaks dried material into an even grind. Two-piece and four-piece designs exist; either is fine for a convection device.See: Grind
- Humidity pack
- A small sachet that keeps stored material at a steady moisture level. Too dry burns faster; too damp vaporises poorly.
Buying, trade and authenticity
- Authorized resellerdealer
- A shop that buys directly from Tinymight and is listed by us. Only devices bought from Tinymight or an authorized reseller carry the full warranty. Resellers will be able to show a badge that links to a verification page on our site.See: Warranty
- Grey market
- Genuine devices sold outside the authorized channel, often without warranty support and sometimes without the right plug or battery.See: Authorized reseller
- Counterfeit
- A fake. Tinymight devices are hand-built in small numbers and every one has a serial number we can check; if a price looks impossible, ask us before buying.See: Serial number
- Authenticity check
- Send the serial number and where you bought the device to support; we confirm whether it is one of ours and whether the warranty is intact.See: Serial number
- Pre-order
- Ordering before a batch is finished. The product page says so clearly; the order ships when the batch is ready.See: ETA
- Backorder
- An order for something temporarily out of stock, shipped when it returns. Our EU store does not take backorders; the notify button tells you when to come back.See: Back in stock alert
- Batch
- One production run. Woods, small design updates and limited editions are made in batches, which is why some editions come and go.See: Limited edition
- Refurbished
- A used device checked and repaired by the maker. We do not currently sell refurbished units.
- Statutory rights
- The consumer protection the law gives you regardless of any warranty. Our warranty adds to those rights; it never replaces them.See: Warranty
- Right of withdrawal14-day return
- EU consumers may return an unused product within 14 days of receiving it. The terms page describes the process and the conditions.See: Terms and conditions
- Invoice
- The receipt for your order, sent by email and available in your account. It shows the VAT included in the price.See: VAT
- Proof of purchase
- The invoice or order confirmation. Needed for warranty and for returns.See: Warranty registration
More shipping words
- Courier
- A tracked door-to-door carrier such as DHL Express or UPS, as opposed to the postal network.See: Express shipping
- Customs
- The border check on parcels entering a country. Our parcels leave with full paperwork and duties prepaid, so they clear without contacting you.See: DDP
- Transit time
- Days from handover to the carrier until delivery. Handling time, the day or so we need to pack, comes on top.See: Delivery country
- Handling time
- The time between your order and the parcel leaving us: usually the next working day.
- Cut-off time
- Orders placed before it ship the same working day; later ones the next.
- Pickup pointparcel locker
- A shop or locker where the carrier leaves a parcel for collection instead of attempting delivery at the door.
- Delivery attempt
- A courier's visit. After a failed attempt the parcel goes to a pickup point or is retried; the tracking page says which.See: Tracking
- Proof of delivery
- The courier's record that a parcel was handed over, sometimes with a signature or a photo.
- Signature required
- Devices travel with a signature requirement so they are not left on a doorstep.
- Volumetric weight
- Couriers charge by size when a parcel is light but bulky. It is why a Full Package box costs more to ship than its weight suggests.
- Shipping restrictions
- Some countries do not admit vaporizers or batteries by post. If a country is missing from the checkout list, that is why.See: Letter post
- Battery shipping rules
- Lithium cells travel under transport rules: inside the device or in limited numbers, never loose in a letter. That is why a spare battery ships as a parcel.See: Battery
